Here is a little tip when doing eyeliner swatches in store
Always use a light touch when you swatch an eyeliner on the back of your hand as that gives a more accurate representation of how it will look when applied to the eye
(top is lightly swatched, bottom is with a bit more pressure)
When swatching in store we tend to use the same pressure that we would use with a pen to paper but that isn’t the pressure we would/are able to use when applying eyeliner to the eye area, as it is such a delicate area. When we swatch like this in store it may seem like it has great pigmentation but when it comes time to using it you will need to keep building the colour up to get it to how it looked when swatched.
